The Bruce Clan
Status: The Bruce's are one of Nordmaar's noblest clans. Some of the elders believe strongly that their clan should still hold the crown, but they have pledged their support to the MacCallum's to help end the clan wars. The Bruce clan stays very active in politics and military matters.
History: The Bruce clan took the crown after the MacGregor's lost it when their King was assassinated with no heirs. The crown was rightfully the Bruce's due to the law that was in place then. False rumors of a Bruce involvement in the killing sparked the great clan wars which lasted for several years until the Bruce clan surrendered the crown to the MacCollums to prevent further bloodshed. The Bruce clan is full of a long and noble history in which they are very proud to claim.

Gwencalon earned the purple heart after she was injured in a rescue attempt when bandits tried to take the Queen. She was awarded her second purple heart when injured by a passing patrol of Yinn scouts. |
