Vikings
First create a human with an appropriate name.
- http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/names/scandinavian.htm is an excellent site with lots of possibilities.
Secondly write an appropriate description.
- use your own judgement as to what constitutes vikingness. there are plenty of sites online to assist you. a certain
amount of creative 'difference of opinion' will be permitted but overall the theme should run steady between all members.
Third you must decide which viking family you come from.
- There are only five surviving viking families.

The Hakonsen
The Arnason
The Kyrre
The Skotkonung
None of the families are drawn to any particular field although the Kyrre have raised some powerful skalds
and at least two of the Skotkonung bloodline in the past are spoken of in legends regarding their magical prowess.
Fouth you should stay in character at all times.
- As with the rest of Nordmaar, stay in character at all times unless you are on OKING or OOC and try to keep
the OKING usage to a minimum.
Fifth, we are all hero's and villain's, just by being a character and not a zero level citizen you are someone known. But
unless you are a legend you should be making your history as the Vikings of Nordmaar grow. Keep that in mind as you
come up with your characters backstory.
Sixth, viking familes are unlike traditional Nordmaar familes in that they do not have familial uniforms (tartans and kilts),
they do however proudly display their crests on weaponry and brooches.
