The house phone number is 970-453-9650.

The house address is 569 Gold Run Road, Breckenridge, CO 80424.

See http://www.dsl-mud.org/dslconvention.htm for up to date information!!

Email:  scorn@dsl-mud.org (I will check this often)

Skype:  dslmud (Scorn Holio is the name on there I believe)  I will only be using this for con stuff and will have to ignore anything else during con most likely.

DIRECTIONS

The I-70 exit for Breckenridge is Exit 203; after exiting, go south toward Breckenridge on Highway 9. Follow Hwy 9 for 6.8 miles until you get to Tiger Road. The closest major intersection to our home is Hwy 9 and Tiger Road (there are stoplights at this intersection and a sign that says Breckenridge Golf Course). Go east on Tiger Road 1.4 miles until you get to the Highlands Park entrance sign at Gold Run Road. Turn right onto Gold Run Road and follow it .5 miles until you get to our home on the left. The address is on the house and not easy to see in the dark so look for the street lamp that is in front of our home and our driveway is right across the road from the neighbor's lighted address (596).

ETIQUETTE:

THINGS TO BRING (if you can):

SCHEDULE:

Thursday: (Pre con)  After 4:30pm. - 2am.

We will be arriving Thursday night around 4:30pm.  You are welcome to come over, but please eat or bring your own food or pitch in for some pizza.  There is no schedule other than hanging out and having a few drinks and playing games.

Friday:  (Officially Con!)  Noon - 2am-ish

We will start entertaining people around noon and will use all afternoon to meet and greet people.  As you arrive, please be sure to find me and say hello and collect your badge if you have one.  I do accept hugs and do not be offended when I don't know your character name.  I almost NEVER pronounce it the way you do.  We will be grilling hot dogs and burgers for dinner and you are very welcome to eat what we make or bring your own stuff if you have any special requests.

APPETIZER COMPETITION:  Noon - 10pm.  I will find 3 trustworthy judges who aren't watching their calories and will let you know who to make sure to taste your dish.  I wish also have cards to fill out to hand the judges so that no one's dish gets lost and the judges can vote without any peer pressure.  Anyone who makes something that helps feed everyone will automatically be given an award at the judging.  (Just put in some effort, no cheeze wiz and crackers....*cough* *Rachel*!)

We will be playing board and table games as well as have an X-Box One and an Xbox 360 set up for games and tournaments.  We won't be offering any prizes until after 7pm.

6pm - We'll all pile in the same room inside or out so I can welcome you all to con and go over any information we all may need.  If I'm drunk, it's not unusual so I can probably still talk.  We will fire up the grill right after this and cook any food we have left over from lunch.  I will open up "Scorn's Book of Want" for all to read and to contribute.  (if you don't know what is, you'll see)

7pm+- CONTESTS!!  (See me if you want to add any contests, but we will post a list of what contests we are doing with times on the inside of the front door)

Including but not limited to:

The Annual Rock-Paper-Scissor contest!

Mortal Combat

FIFA 15

Injustice

Timed Mario

Team Flip Cup Tournament! (if you drink beer)

Other Stuff will be added or announced.

Saturday:  11am - 2am-ish.

Meet by NOON for the scavenger hunt.  Teams are going to be RANDOMLY ASSIGNED, so DO NOT BE LATE.  If you are late, you probably will not get on a team.  I'll be looking for team captains based on who has a car they can drive.  The scavenger hunt will be around the Breckenridge area.  DRIVE SAFE, BE RESPINSIBLE!!! My kid could be on your team and if you wreck him then you have to fix him.

Meet back at the house by 4pm.  You will be judged then and prizes awarded then.  If you are not there, you will not get a prize.

4-7pm:  Asian Food contest.  Make or bring your favorite asian food for another food contest.  This will be judged right after the round table.

4pm - 11pm:  Desert contest.  Make or bring some and we'll have our not-yet diabetic judges do the judging.

7pm:  The DSL Round Table

We'll find the best space and I'll bring my notepad and you'll get to hear me talk about what's new and what to expect in the coming year.  When I am done, I will field a few questions and be happy to discuss anything with anyone until I am not happy to do so.

While this year's round table is certainly going to produce some major surprises and good information, it is a light hearted discussion with me and the staff with the players.  With that being said, let me point out what should be a few obvious rules of DSL Round table Etiquette:

Post Round Table:

We'll be grilling hamburgers and having more contests and drinking if we have the energy.  I'm probably done talking much about the game by then and just want to get to know you all better so let's hang out.

SUNDAY: - Con is over.  We have to be out of the house by 10am.  WE APPRECIATE EVERYONE WHO CLEANS UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND OTHERS!!!  (You have no idea)
