Skinning requires you have the appropriate knife. You should find a shop with all of the knives in any major city. Any of the higher level knives will work for lower level skins but low level knives won't work for high level skins. Also your knives get weak as you use them and only last so long. The higher level knives wear out very quickly so it is best not to use them on low level skins. Animals with skins useful for this craft are found scattered across Algoron. You are not required to have an animal only to be in the correct area.

Syntax: skin <animal type>

Animal types:
1 - 120 deer skin - old thalos & blackwood forest
120 - 240 cow skin - nomad villiage & shalonesti
240 - 360 bull skin - Oriental Village & Arena of the Bull Dancer
360 - 480 moose - Enchantress Tower
480 - 600 bull moose - Enchantress Tower
600 - 720 bear - The Forbidden Forest & The Great Forest
720 - 840 whale - Crystal Bay & Lutsa Rusul
840 - 960 shark - The Stygian Sea & The Blood Sea
960 - 1000 elephant - The Savanna & Bamboo Temple Maze
1000+ bull elephant - The Savanna & Bamboo Temple Mazeorest
1000+ dreadwood - The Great Forest & White Moon Isle
