Dwarves
Mountain Dwarf
Mountain Dwarves dwell in the Mountains of
Thaxanos and are the strongest of all Dwarves.
Mountain Dwarves make awesome armsmen, skald
and battleragers. They make great warriors, runesmith, and priests.
They make good dragonslayers, bandits, bards and clerics. They make
bad mages, thieves, monks, necromancers, rangers, transmuters, invokers,
assassins, illusionists, warlocks/witches, jongleur and enchantors.

Hill Dwarf
Hill Dwarves dwell in the hills outside the
mountains of Thaxanos. They are slightly quicker and smarter than Mountain Dwarves but
slightly weaker. The Thaxanos hills are located next to the Shalonesti forest so the hill
dwarves end up in more fights with the Shalonesti than any other dwarven race. Hill
Dwarves descend from the same families as the mountain dwarves, but were separated in what
became known as the "great betrayal".

Dark Dwarf
Dark Dwarves dwell in the darkest portions of the
Thaxanos mountains. They are cruel and mostly evil. The Dark Dwarves are the only Dwarven
race that meddles in magic. They have a clear history of violence and tried to take over
the Kingdom of Thaxanos itself centuries ago. They are less dexterous than any other
Dwarven race but they are more intelligent and slightly wiser.
Dark Dwarves make good mages, clerics,
necromancers, witches/warlocks, priests, nightshades and Dragonslayers.
They make bad Warriors and Armsmen.
Mul
Mul Dwarves are the cross-breeds between dwarves and humans. They are
broad built and range from five to five and a half feet in height. They
are unable to grow hair on any part of their bodies. As a result of
their unusual breeding they are born sterile, unable to produce. The mul
race was very suited to slave labor and gladiator fighting which
encouraged many, especially the goblins, to breed them regularly for
this purpose. It is rumored that the founder of the Algoron Gladiator
League, Baron Randorf Del'nichi, bred the first Mul for the purpose of
shaping a better fighter for the Gladiator League.
Mul are best suited to serve in Wargar or
Thaxanos.
Mul make good assassins, bandits, warriors
dragonslayers and armsmen. Mul make bad battleragers. They make
horrible Swashbucklers and Bards and extremely bad Nightshades, Druids and
Mages.
