The Black Robes are a dark order of magic who reside in the Black Tower of Drakkara. They are one of three Towers who form the group of Magi known as the Conclave. They share the goals of furthering pure magic, protecting it, and teaching it from generation to generation...

Being evil and of the dark arts, the Black Robes must also learn how to survive and succeed in an environment harsh to many and be able to thus wield great magical power to further the dark magics.
