FAQ
Q: How long will it take to get my
order?
A: Normally around 1 week, but please allow up to 3 weeks.
Q: If my order doesn't show
up in 3 weeks, what do I do?
A: Contact us and we'll track it down and replace it if need be.
Q: What if my order is
damaged?
A: It won't be. We'll only ship perfect items and nothing short of
a plane crash would damage it. However, if it comes in damaged,
contact us and we'll have you ship it back and replace your item.
Q: Does selling merchandise
violate the Diku License?
A: No. The Diku license says "You may under no circumstances make profit on *ANY* part of DikuMud in
any possible way. You may under no circumstances charge money for distributing any part of dikumud - this includes the usual $5 charge
for "sending the disk" or "just for the disk" etc." Per
emails to the old Diku team asking for clarification and per consulting
our lawyer, we are not allowed to charge to play the mud or sell its code.
(nor would we) Selling merchandise from a world that we created is
perfectly legal and within our rights. Any service that we provide that
doesn't make DSL a "play to play" mud or selling parts of their
code is fine. If it was not, we wouldn't have services such as ZMud
or The Mud Connector. In short, Scorn owns the rights to all of DSL except
for the Diku Code and cant use that code for anything profitable, but he
can do what he likes with the rest.
