Ariel appear humanoid except for the brightly colored wings that arch from behind their backs. Their lighter bones give them a lower constitution than humans, but they are rumored to be faster. Ariel can fly, sometimes covering great distances and even crossing oceans.
Ariel society prizes learning, honor, and courage. Historically, they battled the Chromatic Dragons for the skies above Tropica. Throughout Algoron they are known as “tree dwellers” because their settlements were built among the tall trees and jungles of Tropica before the forces of Chaos drove them away.
Ariel receive the racial skill SCREECH. Their wings grant them extraordinary freedom of movement, but their traditions and physical nature prevent them from becoming Swashbucklers, Nightshades, or Charlatans.
