The Bakali of Algoron

Bakali are a scaled reptilian people who stand nearly seven feet tall and walk on two legs. Their heads resemble those of cobras, and their scales may be red, black, green, white, or blue. This resemblance to the colors of Chromatic Dragons has led some to believe that Bakali descend from draconic blood.

Known for fierce tempers and territorial instincts, Bakali possess a naturally venomous bite capable of paralyzing their victims. They are native to the continent of Tropica, where they lived in seclusion for centuries and warred against anything that entered their territory. The forces of Chaos have only recently driven them from those ancestral lands.

Bakali are said to grow larger and more powerful with age. They receive the racial skill VIPER BITE, resist fire, and are vulnerable to cold. Bakali cannot become Bards, Swashbucklers, Nightshades, Illusionists, or Enchantors.
