Crystal Dragons

Oldest and smallest of the "Thirdborn" or the "Gemsired", Crystal Dragons are known by the iridescent sheen of their scales, which glimmer blue-white to camouflage them in their preferred icy climates.

Curious and surprisingly amicable, crystal dragons use a talent for magic, combined with the translucence of their scales, to understand their surroundings and their opponents before they take any action. In battle their strength is not as great as the larger Firstborn dragons, but they make up for it with their unique ability to breathe a cone of blinding light and crystalline shards, as both a last resort and a trump card.
