The Church of Devion

Born of Necrucifer and Drakkara, Devion is the god of mischief and foul play. He delights in trouble and confusion, and he makes deals with mortals to have work done in his name. At the dawn of time one of his pranks provoked Nadrik into a battle across the heavens, where Nadrik severed Devion's hand at the wrist. The rivers ran red with his blood, and its taint is the source of the mischief in the world.

He later tried to kidnap Siccara to force her to heal him, but she foiled him and left a scar across his cheek, and he waits for his chance at revenge on them both. Those who have seen him describe a dark cloak and a cowl pulled low over his scarred face, a lost hand he keeps hidden, eyes never seen, and a maddening laugh at the misfortune of others.

His greatest betrayal came when Austinian himself chose him to join Kadiya and Raije on the mission to kill Malachive. Devion had always admired Kadiya, and she let her guard down around him. When she lay exhausted after hurling the Abhorrant Deathmeere from the field, Devion knelt beside her, praised her courage, stroked her hair, and broke her neck, then fled to the heavens boasting that he had started the greatest war that ever existed. Necrucifer had planned it all. He praised his son for doing what none of the others could, let him keep the new blackened hand he had been given, and named him at last an equal of his brothers.

When his brothers beat Nadrik down among Drakkara's brown dragon eggs, Necrucifer gave the broken God of Honor to Devion as his prize. Devion carried him to the black moon and tortured him for nearly a decade, until the Gods of Good stormed the moon and took him back at the cost of Siccara's life. Now Devion kneels to his mother as Queen of Darkness, and she has told him to amuse himself with Nadrik once more: to break him.
