Siccara, the Goddess of Healing, was born of Austinian and Taliena. Her talent in the healing magicks was unmatched even among her immortal peers. The tome of Legends tells how Devion tried to lure her into his world, and how she and her brother Nadrik drove him back together.

She walked the lands sharing her gifts with all who were pure of heart, tending wounded trees and land as gently as she tended mortals fallen in battle. Her followers share their healing powers with those in need.

Siccara gave her life for her brother. Nadrik was held captive on the black moon for nearly a decade, until the Gods of Good stormed the moon to free him. Necrucifer ordered Mencius to kill Nadrik before his parents' eyes, and Siccara threw herself in front of the blade. "I will not lose another sibling," she whispered, and cast the God sacrifice spell. As Mencius cut her down, its light grew as hot as a star, searing her away and tearing Mencius apart. Taliena carried Nadrik to safety, and in the chaos Drakkara shoved Necrucifer into the same light. Three gods died that day.

The Priesthood

Priests devote their lives to the service of their god, teaching the holy (or unholy) gospel and converting others to the faith. Every church is organized in ranks, and each rank brings more power. A priest who meets a rank's requirements may petition their god for promotion; the gods watch their priests throughout their lives, from their duties to their prayers (and gprays) to the notes they write on matters affecting the faithful, and judge their worth by what they see.
