Paladin

Paladins of Algoron

The Paladin serves the Knighthood of Gareth as the holiest of champions. They are the epitome of the Knighthood's virtues and teachings, and are charged with serving simultaneously as the Shield for the righteous, the Lance to smite the wicked, and the Crown to guide the faithful. The Paladin is well equipped to stand toe-to-toe with the fiercest of foes, and granted the ability to seek out even the most cunning of evils. They can destroy undead with a touch, and heal even the most grievous of wounds. It is no wonder that when one of these rare champions take the field, the faithful find the heart to stand against the Darkness.

The path of the Holy Warrior is not for everyone, and only a select few are accepted by the Generals of the Knighthood, but once given approval by the Generals and the Gods of Good to represent as one of their Champions, the Paladin is rewarded in their faith with a celestial warhorse from Nadrik. The Paladin's ability to smite the wicked is greatly enhanced when mounted, and they are likewise gifted with spiritual power, granting their prayers equal potency to even the most skilled of magi.
