Pirate ![]() Pirates are the scourge of the sea, living from battle to battle in their search for treasure. Pirates are unique in their ability to wield firearms and incendiary devices. Because of the havoc they wreak on land and sea, the longer a pirate stalks the realm, the bigger his reputation. There are six levels of pirate reputation: The following races may not be pirates: Shalonesti Elves, Pixie, Giant Ogres, Mountain & Hill Dwarves, Centaurs and Ariel. You can only become a Pirate by reclassing from the thief class.
ArmorPirates can wear cloth and leather armor, and can use shields.
Experience by RaceHow much experience a pirate of each race needs per level compared to normal (100%); higher means slower leveling. Which races may actually become a pirate is listed under Becoming a Pirate below.
