Priest

Priests of Algoron

Priests are holy (or unholy) servants of their Gods or Goddesses. Their profession on Algoron is one of devotion to their deity, teaching the holy scriptures often personified in written Tenets, and leading the faithful of their Deity by Their divine will.

Priests are teachers and leaders in their chosen Pantheons, expected to impart the desires or determinations and lessons of their Deities faithfully. Those who prove themselves to their Deities in this way are met with divine favor and trust in the way of blessed promotions and divine spells.

All priests start with the rank of Novitiate and begin in the Outer Circle.

*The Order of the Circles is a Church initiative begun by the High Three (Austinian, Kwainin, Drakkara). It is composed of an Outer and Inner Circle where the priests of Algoron gather to learn, to mentor, to support, and protect religious practices within the three Pantheons. Chaos is excluded.

PLEASE NOTE:

- Priest rank progression is tied to role playing class. (SEE: Help Promotion) - Progression through ranks is a self-driven process. The Gods favor those who are creative, impactful, and dedicated. - The use of divine prayer (gpray) allows a priest to convey their roleplay efforts, thoughts, and plans to their patron God. Do this often. Gpray is the best way to convey your story, goals, and progress. - It is recommended that each priest have an outside platform, such as a webpage, google doc, forum thread, etc. where you can capture your interactive logs of RP.

*Players are not required to seek ranks and may remain at any rank if they choose.

All races except for bugbears and specialty races can reclass to priest.

Only the cleric class can reclass to priest.
